Luckily I happened across the brochure for this guided walking tour hidden amongst many others. I was travelling solo and it had been difficult to find a tour group willing to take just me on my own,and at such short notice. This wasn't a problem for Bali Off Course. Another person ended up joining me for the afternoon trek, and I must say it was really lovely just the 2 of us and our guide, Wayan, spending a few hours ambling through rice paddies, offering blessings at waterfalls, visiting a Balinese compound and, the highlight for me, drinking in the tranquility of an ancient temple (which, no surprise, is a popular place for meditation). The walk is easily paced and a highly recommended way to explore Bali, away from the busy streets and honking horns. I loved the simplicity of the walk, which gave the experience a real sense of authenticity.
